Summary: Wednesday Night Fellowship (WNF) offers an inexpensive family-style dinner at 6:00pm, followed by 6:45pm a mix of fun and engaging Classes & Activities: something for all ages.  Childcare by trained caregivers for newborns to 4-year-olds is provided.  The dinner is $4 per adult, $2 per child or $10 per family; but college students eat free!  Four sessions during the school year:  classes vary for each session.   Choir rehearsal follows dinner.

We need helpers on Wednesdays during various time periods:

• Cook Helpers, approx. 1:00pm to 6:00pm
• Setting Tables - anytime between 1:30 and 6:00pm
• Prepare & Serve Beverages - 5:00 to 6:30pm
• Servers - 6:00 to 6:30pm
• Clean-Up - 6:30 to 7:30pm

  Kids: Grilled Cheese, Cucumbers, Grapes, Rice-Crispie Treats.

March 17, Spring Break, no WNF.

• Nursery (0-4yrs) Trained workers provide childcare for participants and instructors.
• Faith Factory (PreK-2nd grade) Michelle Schaecher will lead the children, in Bible lessons, crafts, and games. Room 117.
• JYF (3rd-5th grade) Wade & Diana Watkins will intrduce the group to Grapple, an interactive curriculum that answers real questions kids are asking, and helps kids discover the power of a growing faith in Jesus. Room 119.
• Youth Bible Study (6th-12th grade) Sondra Ladd will begin The Justice Mission, a video-based curriculum that depicts the stark facts about oppression and injustice around the world ... and presents a Bible-based approach to dealing with them. Youth Room 201
• Chancel Choir (all ages) will practice special music for Sunday worship, as well as special musical presentations for the Lenten season. Choir Room 102.
• Mah Jong (adults) Patty Armbruster will teach you to play this challenging and ever-changing ancient Chinese game. Fun for all. Beware: Addictive! Library 104.
• Cooking Off the Top of my Head (Adult) Aaron Sapp will share and prepare quick and easy-to-remember recipes for people who have busy schedules. Room 116.
• Knitting and Crocheting (adults) Rachel Wardlow, Cara Beer, Nancy Trench and others will teach you how o recycle plastic bags and make them into durable handbags &c.  Help with the greening of the environment while you learn a new skill. (you can do regular knitting and crocheting projects as well.) Room 120.
• Texas Hold'em (adults) Various 'experts' - if you've never played this fast-moving card game, now is your chance to learn and play with a congenial group who will help you learn and challenge you to play your best. Room 123.
• The Gospel According to the Simpsons (Adult & Youth) Owen Cayton will explore the faith of America's satirical family. Lessons will include clips from the TV series. Room 121.

Wednesday Night Fellowship

The Wednesday Night Fellowship (WNF) is open to members, non-members, and visitors of all ages. WNF is an intergenerational program to provide a meal, fellowship, and adventures for all age groups. WNF meets on Wednesday nights in four 6-8 week sessions throughout the academic year.

So Many Choices – So little Time!

WNF was designed to adapt to your busy schedule. You may join us for a meal, an adventure, or both. Commit to an entire session, or come and go as you please. And, if your child is too small to be part of an adventure, the nursery is always available, and it's an adventure of its own!

Meal

The meal is tasty family fare that takes place in the large fellowship hall at 6:00 p.m. The cost now is $4.00 per adult, $2.00 per child, or $10.00 per family, and college students eat free!

Adventures and Quests

Adventures and quests follow the meal, running from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. These opportunities are located in various rooms throughout the building (and sometimes throughout town).

Faith Factory

Faith Factory is the adventure for Pre-K through 5th grade. The children will watch the Faith Factory being built as they work on building their own faith through crafts, games, and activities and lessons with a mission.

Whatever your interests or age, from Pre-K through post-retirement, we probably have something for you. Opportunities include games and sports, service projects, crafts, cooking, story times, fellowship times, music opportunities, and courses on topics such as spirituality, genealogy, auto mechanics, and what inquiring minds need to know.
